シェリーちゃんの英語クラス
はじめまして、私の名前はシェリーです。
5歳から15歳までの間、奈良県の生駒市で生活しました。若い時から日本と日本の文化が大好きで、この経験を活かし、日本人の方に向けて英語を学ぶお手伝いをしたいと思っています。
私は17歳の時、アメリカの高校を卒業した後に半年間日本に戻り、関西地区で生活しました。その６カ月の間、奈良市、守口市、伊賀上野市、京阪市まで電車で移動して60人以上(年齢は5歳から60歳まで)の日本人の方に英語を教えました。わたしはこの仕事がとても好きでしたし、このような経験をしたことは今のわたしの糧となっています。
小さい頃に日本語を学ばなければいけなかった私にとって、英語と日本語両方の教育を受ける事はとても重要だと感じています。ビジネス英語からカジュアルな会話まで、幅広くお手伝いできると思います。是非お気軽に連絡してください。

- 日本語クラスも可能です(日本語での基礎会話や平仮名での読み書き)

- Zoomを通じてのオンライン授業と対面授業（LA、アーバイン、サンディエゴ）
- 個人クラス、もしくはグループ(最大で6人)でのクラスも可
- 授業料は1時間で35ドル、1時間半で50ドル
- VenmoやZelle、Wiseでの支払い可
- 授業は週1回または週2回から
- 通常の授業日時は火曜日から金曜日の午前10時から午後6時まで
- リクエストにより、通常の日時以外でも授業時間の設定可能（夜間や土曜日も）

- My English teaching style is to help you learn basic, conversational English with a strong emphasis on pronunciation, blends & the alphabet
- My Japanese teaching style is to learn basic conversational Japanese along with learning how to read & write hiragana
- Classes are for any age
- Classes available via Zoom
- Limited classes available in person (San Diego and Irvine area)
- Individual classes available
- Group classes available (6 people maximum)
- Class times available are: 1 hour for $35, 90 minutes for $50
- Payments accepted via Venmo Wise, or Zelle
- Classes can be for once or twice a week
- Normal class days & times are from 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesday to Friday
- Upon request, class times outside of the normal days & times are available upon request i.e., evenings and Saturdays

昭和生まれの私は「カタカナ読み英語」でr.f.v.th.t. 等の発音に苦労してきたので、友人のミスSherryから学ぶ事にしました。
そこで認識のなかった子音のWとYの発音が違うと指摘された事が最初の驚きでした。
関西弁で日本大好きの彼女は日本人英語の欠点をよく理解し、個々に合うプログラムで教えてくれます。
私のためには母音から始め、フォニックスを徹底的に教えてくれて大変助かっています。

Born in the Showa era, I had trouble pronouncing r.f.v.th.t. and other sounds in “katakana reading English,” so I decided to learn from my friend Miss Sherry.
I was initially surprised when she pointed out that the consonants W and Y were pronounced differently, which I had not realized.
She speaks the Kansai dialect and loves Japan, so she understands the shortcomings of Japanese English well and teaches with a program that is tailored to each individual.
She started with vowels and taught me phonics thoroughly, which has been very helpful.
